Barbara H. Katsos

New York attorney Barbara Katsos opened her private practice in New York City, New York, in 1997. Entitled the Law Offices of Barbara H. Katsos, PC, the law firm focuses on real estate, corporate, and commercial litigation. She also assists women business owners and advises them on legal issues. In addition, Barbara Katsos and her firm focus on trusts, wills, estate planning, and other areas of elder law.

Before she opened her firm, Barbara Katsos opened an educational consulting firm called Teba Associates, Inc., also located in New York City. She continues to operate the business, which tests children to determine if they need IEP intervention at public, private, or parochial schools. Dedicated to helping children, she also serves on the school committee for the A. Fantis Parochial School in Brooklyn. She was also counsel to the St. Spyridon School in Washington Heights and helped the chairman on the universal pre-kindergarten program.

Barbara Katsos belongs to several industry-based organizations, including the Bar Association of New York, the American Bar Association, New York Women’s Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association. She is also a part of the New York State Bar Association’s Panel for Veterans, which offers veterans a 25 percent discount on legal services.
